  • Your doctor will determine whether you should stop taking it or not. You may be advised to check blood pressure and levels of protein in urine while you are taking this medication.

Warning use of Paclitax 100 MG Injection

  1. This medicine may lower the white blood cell count (neutrophils). Close monitoring of blood cell count is necessary. Do not start the treatment if the neutrophils count is less than 1500 cells/mm3.
  2. The chances of occurring infections are more in the patients receiving this medicine. Hold the chemotherapy and start with the broad-spectrum antibiotics if there are any signs and symptoms of fever. Close monitoring of the body temperature and the blood cell count is necessary.
  3. This medicine may cause serious skin reactions. Discontinue the treatment if any symptoms of allergy appear and do not restart.
  4. This medicine is not recommended in the patients with the liver injury. The concentration of this medicine may increase in these patients. The baseline of the liver function tests should be obtained before starting the treatment.
  5. Men should not plan for a child when receiving this medicine.
